a walk in the park

Kids are so funny.

We took Evan to the park the other day in an attempt to get a few cool shots of him with the camera. We quickly remembered that toddlers are not stationary. Not in the least bit.

Maybe we were being selfish parents (we probably were) but we just had to get some practice in and we can't afford to go to a professional photographer. Anyhoo, as we tried to chase little man down we realized that our corralling attempts were starting to get on his baby nerves. Every time one of us stood in front of him, he would turn around and start crying in a high pitch tone. While it was cute, not that we enjoy torturing our son, we decided it was time to call it quits. But before we did, we were able to get this shot.




Selfish parents we may be....but how in the world would we have gotten this adorable shot to show his future girlfriends to look at when he's older?
